Shane Bazzell

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have arrested and charged Shane Bazell, age 38 of Columbus with burglary of a shed and 2 counts of grand larceny – more than $500.00.        Sheriff Eddie Scott stated one of the stolen vehicles was recovered and the second vehicle was located by investigators in a scrap metal yard in Lowndes County.                                              Bazzell is being held in the Clay County Detention Center with bond pending.                            Scott stated the investigation in ongoing and anyone with any information is encouraged to contact investigators at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 662-494-2896 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
