Vernon Elmore

On November 29th a traffic stop on Hwy 389 by the Clay County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit resulted in arrest of Vernon Elmore, age 50 of Maben. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated that Elmore was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine). A bond of $5,000.00 was set for Elmore who is currently incarcerated at the Clay County Detention Center. Elmore also had a Mississippi Department of Correction hold.
