David Box

The Clay County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a missing person report. David Lee Box, age 59 of West Point was reported missing on the morning of January 2, 2020. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated Box was last seen in the early morning hours on January 1, 2020. The automobile that Box was last seen driving was located in a flooded area at McLemore Bottom in northern Clay County.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office is currently searching the area where the auto was located and being assisted by Department of Wildlife & Fisheries, West Point Fire & Rescue, Clay County EMA and local volunteers.
