Matthew Orr

On December 20, 2020 the Clay County Sheriff's Office along with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics were dispatched to assist the Mississippi Highway Patrol on a traffic stop. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated that Matthew Orr, age 40 was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin (57 grams of Brown Heroin), 2 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and several misdemeanor charges. Orr is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Detention Center with a $22,884.00 bond. Orr will have his preliminary hearing in Clay County Justice Court on January 14, 2020.
