Jamarcus Nance

On January 7, 2021 the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, the Mississippi Highway Patrol and the Clay County Sheriff's Office assisted by the West Point Police Department conducted a search warrant at 166 South Division in West Point. Agents recovered approximately 4 pounds of marijuana (street values at $2,200 - $2,400 lb.) and a firearm at the residence.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated that Jamarcus Nance, age 34 of West Point was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana w/Intent and Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon and several misdemeanor charges.

Nance is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Detention Center with a $17,527.25 bond. Nance will have his preliminary hearing in Clay County Justice Court on February 11, 2021.
