Jimmy Laster

On January 28th the Clay County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted a traffic stop in which the K-9 Unit alerted to narcotics in the vehicle. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated Jimmy Laster, age 42 of Houston was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (approximately 14 grams) and a misdemeanor traffic violation. Laster also had an outstanding felony capias for Possession of a Weapon by a Felon and Possession of Methamphetamine - 2nd Subsequent Offense. Laster is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Detention Center with a $10,000.00 bond for the capias warrant and bond pending on the Possession of Methamphetamine.
