Ronedarius Burgin

Clay County Sheriff Investigators have arrest and charged Ronedarius Burgin, age 18 of Columbus with possession of a stolen firearm and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Sheriff Eddie Scott said the arrest stemmed from a safety check point where deputies observed the smell of marijuana and observed a high capacity firearm magazine inside the vehicle. Upon further investigation by sheriff deputies, the firearm had been reported stolen from Lowndes County.

Burgin remains incarcerated at the Clay County Detention Center with a bond set at $5,507.75.
