Shontez D. Clay

An arrest at a safety check point on Hwy. East 50 by the Clay County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit along with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics on January 30th resulted in the arrest of Shontez D. Clay, age 23 of West Point.  Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated the Clay County K-9 unit deployed K-9 Spike on the vehicle and alerted agents to discover methamphetamine. Agents recovered approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine. Clay was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $5,000.00.
