On May 2nd, Clay County Sheriff's Office Investigators responded to a 911 call of an individual identified as Jerrick Orr, age 25 of Aberdeen who was damaging a vehicle at a home on East Hazelwood Road and then proceeded to kick in the door of the home. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated the suspect fled the scene as officers approached. Investigators and deputies apprehended Orr after a short vehicle pursuit when he jumped and ran from his vehicle. Orr was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Dwelling, Fleeing Arrest, Malicious Mischief over $1,000.00, 3 misdemeanor charges of Reckless Driving, Possession of Marijuana in Vehicle and Resisting Arrest. He also had a Bench Warrant with the West Point Police Department. Bond was set at $27,111.50.
