Latelvin Sample

On May 14, 2024 Clay County Sheriff's Investigators arrested and charged Latelvin Sample with Aggravated Assault and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. Sheriff Eddie Scott said the charge stemmed from a report of a firearms assault that occurred on April 20, 2024 on Barton Ferry Road in Clay County. Investigators recovered a firearm hidden on his body at the time of his arrest while at the Sportsplex located in West Point. Sample is currently in the Clay County Detention Center with a bond of $75,307.75. Initial court appearance is set for Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Clay County Justice Court Complex.
