David Ray Winfield

On June 7th, in a joint operation conducted by the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the Clay County Sheriff's Office resulted in the arrest of David Ray Winfield, age 56, at his residence, 325 Tom Valentine Road, Pheba, Ms. Sheriff Eddie Scott stated approximately 56 grams of suspected Methamphetamine and a firearm was seized by agents. Winfield was subsequently charged with Trafficking of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Winfield remains incarcerated at the Clay County Detention Center with a $40,000.00 bond and a hold by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
