The Clay County Sheriff Department Investigators arrested 2 individuals, Tony Raines, age 33, of 585 Eastside Avenue, Ackerman, MS and Thomas Barnett, age 30, of 1471 Barnett Road, Maben, MS and were charged with aggravated assault for an incident that occurred Sunday night, June 22, 2104 at The Bank, a club located in western Clay County.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said the victim received serious head wounds and was treated and released from Oktibbeha County Hospital and is currently recuperating at home.

Scott stated that Raines and Barnett were both given a $20,000.00 bond and will have their preliminary court appearance at the Clay County Justice Court on July 24, 2014.
