On September 15^th narcotic agents with the Clay County Sheriff Department and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics conducted a search warrant at 15770 Les Burns Road in Una. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated an estimated 2 pounds of marijuana was seized from the residence. Agents arrested Jerry Holliday, age 34 and Ashley Salter, age 30 at the residence. Sheriff Scott stated both individuals were charged with manufacturing of marijuana and 2 counts each of child endangerment due to the amount of narcotics found inside the residence. Sheriff Scott stated the Department of Human Services took custody of the children at the residence.

Both individuals remain incarcerated at the Clay County Detention Center. Bond has been set at $45,000.00 for all three charges for each individual.

Benjamin Bennett, age 34, of 1031 Brame Avenue, West Point was arrested by Clay County Sheriff Department for possession of cocaine. Bennett is currently incarcerated at the Clay County Detention Center with a $25,000.00 bond and a hold has been placed by the Mississippi Department of Correction.
