On Sunday, June 28, 2015 the Clay County Sheriff Department was notified of a stolen 1998 Avalon pontoon boat – 20 feet in length. Approximately around 9:30 p.m., a dark colored truck was seen pulling a boat matching the description of the stolen pontoon traveling north on Highway 47. The pontoon boat is described as being blue and white in color and having a 75 horsepower outboard motor. The serial numbers for the boat and trailer is as follows: Boat: DVL27747C898, Trailer: 4PM112018W1003803. The registration number posted on the boat is MI-933-BB with an expiration of 07-31-2007.
