George Mario Gill

The Clay County Sheriff Department Investigators have charged George Mario Gill, age 37, of West Point with Arson – 4th Degree. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated the charge stems from setting a fire inside the correctional facility. Scott said there were no injuries and the fire was quickly extinguished by the jail staff. Gill is currently incarcerated at the detention center with bond pending and will be presented to the April term of the grand jury.
